Talk about a cool location for a cool couple! Amber & John fit the city life well and this stunning little island in St. Paul provided just the right spaces for us to use to capture their love and lifestyle. I've gotten to know these two through a couple of my past brides & grooms (I'm lookin' at you awesome people, McDonagh's and Cardinal's!!) and I couldn't be more thrilled to be the lucky one to photograph their wedding this fall! It's sure to be a stunner and they'll even share an anniversary with my hubby and myself! :) Can't WAIT!
Sara & Gabe wanted an industrial e-sesh where they could pop some bottles and enjoy Minneapolis together. Check, check, and check!! This session was a huge success and I am just so happy to call these two my clients after photographing their proposal and am now lucky enough to continue photographing them until marriage. And let me tell you, it's going to be one stunner of a wedding!! <3
I truly couldn't have asked for a more beautiful night with this sweet couple!! That golden light makes me swoon -- add in one of my favorite locations and a stunning couple and I am totally in love!! Luckily, I don't have to wait too long to photograph these two again because their wedding is less than TWO weeks!! For now, you'll have to be content with seeing Erica in this gorgeous white dress until the real one comes into play!! :)
Exploring what this beautiful city of Minneapolis has to offer with my couples will forever be one of my favorite activities. When Jade mentioned that they would love to have their pups included at the end of their engagement session, my thoughts immediately went to Minnehaha Dog Park and I was so happy they went along with my idea! I'm even happier that I think they will keep me around even after we arrived at the park and it was so muddy that I'm pretty sure we'll all be buying new pairs of shoes... ha! I am so grateful for my laid back, fun-loving clients and the trust that they put in me. Jade and Matt are at home in each others arms and I loved capturing the comfort that brings. <3
Oh, Sicely and Ian... they are quite possibly the world's cutest couple. Sicely is my dear cousin and I've had the pleasure of watching her and Ian's relationship grow and thrive over the last 7 years and I am just so proud of where they have come and who they are together. And now they will be husband and wife!! Ian called me the day before he planned to propose (luckily not any sooner... I would have burst at the seams holding in that information!) to ask if my husband and I could be there to celebrate as he asked Sicely to be his wife. I wouldn't have missed it for the world! Ian gave me permission to bring my camera -- there was no way I couldn't document this moment -- and I am SO glad I did! Ian walked Sicely across the Stone Arch Bridge where he shared a private moment with her while overlooking St. Anthony Falls. As he got down on one knee and asked her for forever together, a large group of family and friends swarmed around them screaming and cheering with joy. It was the most amazing moment! You are about to witness the sweetest proposal ever... If this doesn't make you feel warm and fuzzy on this cold winter day, I don't know what will! Enjoy!
