I've been a huge fan of these two ever since Wedding Day Diamonds put me in touch with them to photograph their proposal, so when Samantha reached out to me to chat about wedding photography I did a goofy little happy dance and was beyond thrilled when they chose to work with me!! Breweries are totally their thing, so we swung by the amazing Lakes and Legends Brewing Company (who are always incredibly great to me when I use their space, AND they have some seriously fabulous beer!!) to keep with the hoppy trend that their engagement has seemed to follow. :) These are some of my very favorite engagement photos ever; talk about being natural for the camera AND model material, amiright?? These two are insanely fun to work with and I am so excited for their wedding next June. I've even heard rumor that there will be moss involved and lots of greenery... These are my type of people. :)
You can't spend time with these two and leave without a ginormous goofy smile on your face. They have so much joy to share and it spreads everywhere they go -- and it's WONDERFUL to be around! Thankfully I don't need to wait much more than 2 months to see (and photograph!) them again on their wedding day. It will be a New Years Eve celebration to top them all!! :)
Man, I love couples. I love learning what makes them tick, I love watching how they interact, how their personalities mesh together. It's amazing to me how different we all are yet we can all find that one person who just GETS you. How beautiful is that?! I got to capture that relationship for Shanna & Henry earlier in the winter (I can't quite get over the fact that I can't say "earlier this year" now that it's 2016!!) and now I wanted to share some of my favorites from their session with you all! Their wedding is taking place at a favorite venue of mine, Minneapolis Event Centers, this coming June and I am so excited to capture it all for them!
I love these two. I love their love for each other, and I love capturing it with my camera!! Sam & Caleb planned their wedding in a mere 40 days (that's like 2 days in "wedding planning time") and we didn't have the time to schedule an engagement session -- so they opted for a newlywed session instead! What a perfect opportunity to stop and have some time together after the wedding day madness has passed!! And let's face it, I definitely make my couples get cozy and flirty during my sessions, so having a little time to focus solely on each other is a wonderful thing! Now, enjoy some of my favorites from their newlywed session! And in case you missed it, see their amazing A'bulae wedding here.
