st. paul engagement
Holly & Phillip are awesome. And let me let you in on a little secret: they're getting married THIS FRIDAY!! I loved their session earlier this summer and decided that in celebration of their upcoming nuptials, it's time to share some of my favorites with you. We had the coolest locations, and these two came ready for fun and looking fabulous. I cannot waaaiiiiiiit to laugh with them all day on Friday at the Millennium Hotel in Minneapolis! <3
Talk about a cool location for a cool couple! Amber & John fit the city life well and this stunning little island in St. Paul provided just the right spaces for us to use to capture their love and lifestyle. I've gotten to know these two through a couple of my past brides & grooms (I'm lookin' at you awesome people, McDonagh's and Cardinal's!!) and I couldn't be more thrilled to be the lucky one to photograph their wedding this fall! It's sure to be a stunner and they'll even share an anniversary with my hubby and myself! :) Can't WAIT!
These two are adventurers who were hungry to explore, so I took them to the Landmark Center and spent some amazing time getting to know the two of them while climbing stair upon stair in that great, gorgeous building. A little later we hit up one of my favorite spots -- Hidden Falls Park -- to get our toes wet and capture their love in one of the most beautiful parks in the Twin Cities. We laughed, we got sand in our shoes, and we even found a morel mushroom! Above all, I learned how these two love each other and it was a beautiful thing to witness. See for yourself:
I LOVED spending the evening with Jennifer & Josh. These two are so easy to pass the time with -- I could laugh a night away with them any time! We had a gorgeous evening walking around Hidden Falls Park, complete with a gorgeous waterfall and a picnic with wine along the shores of the Mississippi. I cannot wait to spend more time with this couple at their wedding this September!
Who couldn't love a cheery, bright little café like this to start off your engagement session?! This is where these two giggly love birds had their first date, so I definitely found it very fitting to incorporate it into their e-sesh!! We followed that by journeying down to Hidden Falls Park, a recent favorite spot of mine that has an entirely different look in the deep throes of winter. We walked along the river and I captured them being so wonderfully, perfectly "THEM" as they so willingly trudged through a foot of snow to humor me and my (sometimes ridiculous) ideas. These photos are the result of me having the most fantastically awesome, unfazed-by-my-craziness, willing clients... and I couldn't be more thankful for that. Because I am completely in love with their shoot!! Now enjoy it for yourself:
