There was so much beauty and so much fun to be had on this day! Amy & Chris are my definition of perfect clients -- they are silly, laid-back, have impeccable style, and fully put their trust in me to do my thang and photograph their biggest moments in life so far. How amazing is that?! We have a blast working together and I already miss my time spent with them; lucky for me I've now blogged my favorites from their wedding day so I can easily browse through them at any given moment. I hope you'll all join me in doing the same! Behold the beauty that was the Wadsworth's Wedding Day!!

Oh how I love reliving this day. So much beauty in the venue, in the couple, and most of all -- in their love for each other. Anyone who was present at this stunning soirée could feel the depth of Abby & Jason's immense love for one another and the joy of it all was absolutely contagious!! Minneapolis Event Center supplied the perfect ceremony and reception backdrops for this hot, late-summer wedding and I loved working in the new (to me) spaces as well as all along St. Anthony Main for some portraits! Relive this stunner with me now:

From the very moment that I first met Bridget & Eric, I knew the journey I was starting with them was going to be an incredible one! I met them for coffee, we chatted forever, and much to my extreme excitement (I had been hoping and praying they felt the same about wanting to work with me as I wanted to work with them!) they decided to book me for their wedding date! Since then, I have photographed them in one of their favorite places (if you need a refresher, go see their engagement session because it's one of my all-time favorites), enjoyed beers over happy hour, talked for hours, and witnessed the moment they united in marriage. My job is SO cool, and when you have that moment where you know your clients are going to become your new BFFs, it takes the awesomeness to the next level. So until the day comes that I get to photograph the growth of their family (no pressure ;) ) I look forward to sunny happy hours and lots of laughter shared with these two. And lots of daydreaming back to their gorgeous wedding on the ultimate summer day...

It's an incredible feeling when I get to work with old friends from high school that I haven't seen in years. Laura and I have the usual high school buddies history: hangouts with friends and giggle fests during school lunches; we traveled to California together for a field trip (for band, because we were obviously the coolest), and I even attended my first ever REAL concert with her (and Kristin, who makes an appearance as MOH in this wedding!)! When she contacted me about photographing her wedding, I couldn't contain my excitement... then add in the fact that they wanted to fly me out to gorgeous Colorado Springs where the ceremony would be taking place and I. Was. SOLD.
Cut to just about a year later, and this is how their amazing day unfolded. It was a gorgeous sunny day; we ran off to Garden of the Gods for some absolutely incredible bride & groom portraits, and then I watched them get married with the mountains towering behind them. I got to see old friends, new clients, and even take a mini vacation with my hubby. Watching a friend get married is always emotional, but it's also so easy once you see how well-matched her and Jordan are. They are the PERFECT, silly, love-filled pair and I adore watching them together. I hope you all enjoy this little peek into their Big Day!!

I emailed with, met with, and photographed Amanda & Johnny's wedding all in the span of ONE week. I'm so used to getting to know my couples over the span of a year or so that there is a part of me that is sad that my time working with these two with their wedding is already done... but at the same time, my experience working with them was so full of fun and love that I feel completely fulfilled and lucky to have gotten the chance to capture them together! I spent a mere two hours with them, photographing their beautifully intimate ceremony at Vivo Kitchen in Apple Valley surrounded by family and friends and carefully guarded by their sweet little Lucy (side note, grab a tissue for the photos of Johnny's vows to Lucy. You'll need it.), followed by an AMAZING extended bride & groom portrait session. A&J are total goofballs that I can't get enough of (pay attention as you scroll through these photos... I guarantee that you'll burst out laughing with this couple) and I'm so happy to get to call them a part of my clientele!!
