Laura & Jordan Married

It's an incredible feeling when I get to work with old friends from high school that I haven't seen in years. Laura and I have the usual high school buddies history: hangouts with friends and giggle fests during school lunches; we traveled to California together for a field trip (for band, because we were obviously the coolest), and I even attended my first ever REAL concert with her (and Kristin, who makes an appearance as MOH in this wedding!)! When she contacted me about photographing her wedding, I couldn't contain my excitement... then add in the fact that they wanted to fly me out to gorgeous Colorado Springs where the ceremony would be taking place and I. Was. SOLD.
Cut to just about a year later, and this is how their amazing day unfolded. It was a gorgeous sunny day; we ran off to Garden of the Gods for some absolutely incredible bride & groom portraits, and then I watched them get married with the mountains towering behind them. I got to see old friends, new clients, and even take a mini vacation with my hubby. Watching a friend get married is always emotional, but it's also so easy once you see how well-matched her and Jordan are. They are the PERFECT, silly, love-filled pair and I adore watching them together. I hope you all enjoy this little peek into their Big Day!!
