Jennifer & Josh — Hidden Falls Park Engagement Photography

I LOVED spending the evening with Jennifer & Josh. These two are so easy to pass the time with — I could laugh a night away with them any time! We had a gorgeous evening walking around Hidden Falls Park, complete with a gorgeous waterfall and a picnic with wine along the shores of the Mississippi. I cannot wait to spend more time with this couple at their wedding this September!

Kara & Ben — Berry Hill Farm in Anoka, Minnesota Wedding Photography

Oh, how I love a summer wedding!! I cannot believe how quickly this summer has been flying by — I only have a couple of “summer” weddings left, and then a glorious Fall full of more beautiful wedding days. How can it possibly be that my 2014 wedding season is half over?!

To celebrate the half-way mark, I am sharing one of my favorite weddings from this summer (so far!). Kara & Ben were so amazing to work with, they had their wedding based at a berry farm (I mean COME ON), and I was able to have multiple opportunities to take the two of them away for portraits on one of the most beautiful days that June had to offer. This explains the crazy abundance of bride & groom photos in this post… so I am sorry (not sorry) but I could NOT narrow it down any less! Take a peek into their day, and soak in that beautiful sun and insanely photogenic bride & groom:

Venue: Berry Hill Farm / Nowthen Alliance Church

Sam & Caleb — Newlyweds in Loring Park

I love these two. I love their love for each other, and I love capturing it with my camera!! Sam & Caleb planned their wedding in a mere 40 days (that’s like 2 days in “wedding planning time”) and we didn’t have the time to schedule an engagement session — so they opted for a newlywed session instead! What a perfect opportunity to stop and have some time together after the wedding day madness has passed!! And let’s face it, I definitely make my couples get cozy and flirty during my sessions, so having a little time to focus solely on each other is a wonderful thing! Now, enjoy some of my favorites from their newlywed session!

And in case you missed it, see their amazing A’bulae wedding here.

Emily & Colin — Backyard Wedding in Minnesota

A backyard soirée, done to a ‘T’. Emily and Colin did not overlook the slightest of details for their wedding day, and family and friends made sure the entire day would go off without a hitch — except for the two getting hitched, of course!

From the salvaged church pews that guests were seated in, the arbor made of tree trunks for their ceremony altar, the irresistible dessert table, to the handmade (by Emily’s DAD!) farmhouse tables for the reception, this wedding was a gorgeous sight to behold. Top that off with a perfectly in love couple and eager, happy guests…. their day was nothing short of perfection. And I am SO blessed to be the one who got to capture every detail!! This is one of my favorites, to date. I hope you all enjoy this crazy beautiful wedding day!

Krista, your work is fabulously capturing!

Elisa & Pino — Como Park Engagement

Oh, Elisa and Pino. Where to even begin with these two? I could have photographed them for a whole day!!!

(Lucky for me, I’ll get to on their wedding day!):D

These two awesome people invited me to their incredibly beautiful home in order to capture some photos of them with their beloved pup, Gadget, who I like to call “Master of Fetch.” I’ve never seen a dog who takes a game of fetch more seriously — I’m pretty sure he could play for hours!:)From their home, we headed to Como Park for the rest of their engagement session. The rain held off for us, and instead we were blessed with an INCREDIBLY gorgeous sunset. I was giddy with excitement over photographing these two on such an amazing night… these two were seriously meant to be in front of a camera and we kept photographing until the sun was set!

Elisa and Pino, you are a GORGEOUS couple and so insanely fun to work with. I’m thinking that a slice of pizza from  Pino’s Pizzeria will be needed soon!! I cannot wait to see the two of you again.
