Mandy & John | Minneapolis Engagement

When my husband and I got married almost 5 years ago, we moved to Minneapolis into the most charming four-unit apartment building by Lake Nokomis. In the craziness of our moving in, amid boxes everywhere and wet paint on the walls, the sweetest girl with an equally sweet (freshly-made) loaf of banana bread knocked on our door to extend a welcome to the building. Her bright smile alongside the cutest neighborly gesture is something I've always been grateful for, and Mandy immediately made my hubby and I feel even more excited about moving to the "Big City". Since then, we had the pleasure of getting to know her and her fiance John - together they make one of the kindest and most adventurous couples I know. They have since moved to North Dakota and I couldn't be more thrilled that I get to travel to the U.S./Canadian border this fall for what is sure to be one of the most welcoming and fun weddings I've ever photographed! Their day can't come soon enough - but until then, check out how sweet these two are; especially making music together. Some of my favorite images I've ever taken!! :)

Laura & Jordan Engaged

When my couples can automatically be their silly selves in front of my camera -- I know I'm in for a fun session. Laura & Jordan were already giggling uncontrollably within my first 30 seconds of being around them, and I was instantly in love! Laura is a dear friend of mine from High School; she's goofy, sweet, and I've loved every second of seeing her again after too many years. To sweeten the deal, I get not only Laura, but the added bonus of meeting the awesome man that she is going to marry! Her and Jordan are simply perfect together and I LOVE seeing the happiness that emanates from them both when they are in each other's company! Check these cuties out for yourself:
